Health Benefits of Your Healthy Holiday Granola Ingredients

  • Oats: A great source of fiber, oats help with digestion and can keep you feeling full longer. They also provide a slow release of energy.
  • Nuts (pecans and pistachios): These nuts add healthy fats, protein, and antioxidants to your granola, helping to support heart health and keep you satisfied.
  • Shredded Coconut: Adds natural sweetness and healthy fats without any refined sugars.
  • Dried Cranberries: Full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, dried cranberries add a touch of tartness and sweetness that complements the granola beautifully.

How to Make Granola Clusters vs. Loose Granola

If you prefer clusters, press the granola mixture down firmly onto the baking sheet before baking. This helps the mixture stick together during baking and form clusters as it cools. Stirring the granola regularly while baking also prevents clumps from forming, giving you a more even texture.

Creative Ways to Serve Healthy Holiday Granola

Granola is incredibly versatile. Serve it over yogurt, with almond milk, or enjoy it by the handful as a satisfying snack. It’s also perfect for topping smoothie bowls or mixing into baked goods for an extra crunch.
