Strawberries: Sweetness with a Purpose 🍓
Strawberries aren’t just here to make things pretty. They’re packed with vitamin C, antioxidants, and fiber, making them powerhouse ingredients for women navigating hormonal shifts.
- Collagen Support & Skin Health
Thanks to their high vitamin C content, strawberries help maintain skin elasticity and reduce oxidative stress.
- Blood Sugar Stability
Their low glycemic index and fiber help prevent spikes in blood sugar, which is essential for hormone balance.
- Heart & Brain Protection
Rich in anthocyanins and ellagic acid, strawberries support heart health and may reduce age-related cognitive decline.
- Anti-Inflammatory Power
These antioxidants help reduce systemic inflammation, which often rises during perimenopause and menopause.
Spinach: Earthy and Iron-Rich
Spinach is a foundational green in hormone-friendly nutrition. It’s rich in folate, magnesium, iron, and vitamin K, all of which play key roles in energy, detoxification, and cellular repair.
- Hormone Metabolism Support
Folate and magnesium regulate estrogen detox pathways and may ease PMS or menopausal symptoms.
- Blood Pressure & Heart Health
Potassium and nitrates in spinach help relax blood vessels and support healthy blood pressure.
- Iron for Energy
Plant-based iron supports hemoglobin production, which is essential for oxygen transport and energy, especially important for women experiencing fatigue.
- Brain and Cognitive Function
Antioxidants like lutein and vitamin K help protect brain cells and may slow age-related memory decline.
