Ingredients
3 cups of basil (fresh, leaves only, pack the cups tightly)
1 clove of garlic (minced) (omit, if your digestion doesn’t like garlic or you are healing)
1 can (15 oz) of chickpeas (canned and drained)
2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
2 tbsp Lemon Juice (or 3 tbsp)
Instructions
- Mince the garlic
- Add all ingredients to the food processor or mixer – blend to desired consistency
Notes
Optional Add-Ins
1 pinch of sea salt (optional – be careful – nutritional yeast is salty)
Water or Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil to taste to make it thinner & creamier
Pine nuts, raw almonds, or raw walnuts (to add additional protein & an additional flavor)
