Description

For all our coffee enthusiasts out there, we’ve brewed up a delightful treat that combines the rich, bold flavors of coffee with the decadence of chocolate – presenting our Coffee Chocolate Nice Cream. This creamy bowl of banana ice cream requires just three ingredients and a mere 10 minutes of your time, promising a quick, indulgent escape for your taste buds

Ingredients

Scale

2 ripe frozen bananas

2 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder

12 tsp coffee powder (or sub a small amount of chilled brewed coffee – add slowly to avoid making the nice cream watery)

Optional: Unsweetened nut milk as needed for preferred consistency

Instructions

  1. Blend to Creamy Perfection:In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine the frozen ripe bananas, cacao powder, and coffee. Blend on high until the mixture achieves a creamy and smooth consistency. If your blender encounters resistance, introduce a splash of unsweetened nut milk to facilitate blending. Exercise caution to avoid making the nice cream too runny.
  2. Adjust to Taste: Take a moment to taste the magic. Adjust the flavor to your liking by adding more cocoa or cacao powder for a chocolate boost, or sprinkle in additional coffee powder for an intensified coffee experience.
  3. Enjoy the Bliss: Dive into your creation immediately and relish the velvety fusion of coffee and chocolate dancing on your palate. It’s an instant mood-lifter and a delightful reward for your taste buds.
  4. Freeze for Future Pleasures: If, by some miracle, there are leftovers, consider freezing them in ice cube or popsicle molds for a future indulgence. Stored properly, these frozen delights can last up to a month in the freezer, though they are undoubtedly at their best when enjoyed fresh.
