Description

Soft, fudgy, and naturally sweet, these Chocolate Almond Butter Balls have a truffle-like texture that feels indulgent without the crash.

Ingredients

Scale

1 ripe banana, mashed until smooth

1/2 cup almond butter (creamy works best)

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup almond flour

1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

Optional: a small handful of dark chocolate chips or crushed nuts for texture

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, mash the banana until there are no lumps.

2. Add the almond butter, cocoa powder, almond flour, flaxseed, vanilla, and salt. Stir until everything comes together in a thick, brownie-like dough.

3. If the mixture feels too soft to roll, add a tablespoon of almond flour at a time until it firms up.

4. Scoop out small potions and roll into balls using your hands.

5. Place the balls on a parchment-lined plate or tray.

6. Chill in the fridge for 20-30 minutes, or until firm.

7. Store in an airtight container or fridge for up to 5 days.
